Filter Guide
Some filters configuration is available starting with app version 1.0.4. The update ships soon to both app stores, so check for the latest release if the options are not yet visible on your device.
Filters help you focus on the notifications that matter. This guide explains how the app evaluates filters and how swipe gestures let you manage each entry.
How filter logic works
Every filter you add joins the existing ones with a logical AND. A notification must satisfy all of your filters to appear in the list.
Add more filters when you want to narrow down the stream. Remove filters to broaden your view again.
Swipe actions on filters
Each filter row supports quick gestures so you can keep your list tidy while staying in control of notifications.
- Swipe left: remove the filter entirely. The filter stops limiting the notification list right away.
- Swipe right: keep the filter but disable push notifications for the value on that row.
When you press the back button, the list of disabled filters uploads to the Ntfy me servers so they take effect where they run.
